Tips for Dual SIM Management
While Traveling:
- Set Roambit eSIM as your data SIM
- Keep your home SIM for calls and texts (check roaming costs with your carrier)
- If you don't need to receive calls, turn off your physical SIM to save battery
When You Return Home:
- Switch Mobile data back to your physical SIM
- You can leave the eSIM installed but disable it
- Or delete the eSIM if you're done using it
To Disable Without Deleting:
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Roambit plan → Turn Off This Line Android: Settings → SIMs → Roambit eSIM → toggle off "Use SIM"
Battery tip: Having two active SIMs can increase battery drain by 5-10%. If you don't need your home SIM while abroad, consider disabling it.
